Description
-This graft is comprised of both epicondyles of the
distal portion of the femur with approximately 4 to 5
inches of the femur shaft. Standard measurements
include width medial to lateral at the widest point
across the distal border of the condyles (A), length
from the distal-most condyles to the proximal-most
cut end (B), and the diameter of the shaft in the A/P
plane at the point of transsection (C).
Common Uses
-Reconstruction due to trauma, tumor, degenerative
disease or fractures, knee revision, and acetabular
reconstruction.
