The course chaired by Drs. Charles Getz, Michael O'Brien, and Dr. Paul Sethi will offer a review of the principles of shoulder and elbow anatomy and help residents and fellows further their skills and gain mastery of surgical approaches and procedures of the shoulder and elbow.

Orthopedic Joint, Tendon, Bursa, Nerve and Muscle Injection Workshop

The workshop teaches injection techniques and knowledge for orthopedic diseases. These include small, medium and large joints as well as bursa injections, nerve and muscle blocks. These procedures constitute a large portion of treatments primary care doctors can offer. Learners can practice injection techniques during the workshop. They can perform these injections and blocks without special equipment nor with excessive time in office. Indication, contraindications, complications, billing, coding and sample notes will be provided. What is learned is immediately applicable in practice.

26th Annual Tampa Shoulder Course: Arthroplasty & Sports

This course is designed to provide the orthopaedic surgeon with a comprehensive update on treatments for various shoulder and elbow disorders including conservative care, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and fracture management. The course format is a diverse combination of lectures, hands-on workshops and engaging panel discussions. A pre-course cadaveric lab provides advanced surgical techniques for TSA and RTSA surgical techniques for those registrants. A group of distinguished faculty will present their experience, techniques, and discuss individual cases. Ample time for question and answer sessions will be provided for participants to interact with faculty.
