2020 What Every Hand Surgeon Should Know About the Wrist: Recordings

Overview

This course will present up-to-date information and techniques regarding disorders that are treated by hand surgeons. In addition to covering common condition sand ensuring the participants have the best information and knowledge to provide state-of-the-art care, the course will also review conditions which are less frequently seen and less well understood. This will enable participants to apply current research and knowledge into their clinical practices and provide optimal care to their patients. Self-Assessment Examination

Overview

The American Society for Surgery of the Hand offers this annual exam to hand and upper extremity care professionals as a comprehensive review tool of basic principles. It can also be used by practicing clinicians to stay abreast of new developments and concepts within the specialty. The examination covers diagnostic and therapeutic problems, both surgical and non-operative, basic science knowledge, and fundamental principles of hand surgery. The interpretation of the illustrative material (clinical photographs and radiographs) is an integral part of this examination. NEW! ADDITIONAL SELF-ASSESSMENT PRODUCTS We've expanded our suite of Self-Assessment products at ASSH, offering even more opportunities to earn CME and test your knowledge. Check out our newly launched products in the store, including: Daily Dose Part 1: For 90 days, you'll receive one self-assessment examination question per day. At the end of the 90 days, with a passing score of at least 50%, you'll receive 9 CME credits. Available through July 31 each year. Daily Dose Part 2: For 30 days, you'll receive 5 self-assessment examination questions per day. At the end of the 30 days, with a passing score of at least 50%, you'll receive 15 CME credits. LMS-2020 Comprehensive Review Course in Hand & Upper Extremity

Overview

The ASSH Comprehensive Review Course is designed as a 12.5-hour advanced review course and update for practicing hand surgeons as well as Residents and Fellows in training. The course will review the relevant concepts of anatomy, biomechanics and pathology as well as diagnostic and treatment methods relating to wrist and hand surgery. Strategies will be reviewed to improve test taking skills with time allotted for discussion. The faculty are recognized experts in hand surgery and have been selected for their knowledge, expertise and contributions relating to the subject matter they present.
