Derma+Flex® Tissue Adhesive is a sterile, liquid topical skin adhesive containing a dual blend of Octyl and Butyl cyanoacrylates. This unique blend ensures that the product incorporates the most desirable properties of both Octyl and Butyl cyanoacrylates to optimise flexibility, strength and setting time.
• Derma+Flex® High Viscosity Tissue Adhesive incorporates the colourant D+C violet #2 which allows the user to easily see where the adhesive has been applied.
• Derma+Flex® is solvent-free and due to its low heat generation on curing (exotherm) will not sting or burn when correctly applied.
• Derma+Flex® High Viscosity Tissue Adhesive is for use by medical professionals to close surgical incisions and minor traumatic wounds with easily opposable skin edges, in areas of low skin tension. This includes punctures from minimally invasive surgery and simple thoroughly cleansed, trauma-induced lacerations.
• Derma+Flex® High Viscosity Tissue Adhesive may be used in conjunction with but not in place of deep dermal sutures.
