Product Overview

Improving MicroDiscectomy Outcomes

The SpineJet MicroResector provides physicians with a minimally invasive, predictable and efficient technique for performing a microdiscectomy.

The MicroResector comes with a 4.0 mm cannulated access set to create a minimally invasive pathway to the disc space, thus reducing the risk of reherniations. In addition, the access set minimizes or eliminates the need for nerve root manipulation, thereby reducing the likelihood of epidural fibrosis and recurrent radicular pain.

Once inside the disc space, the MicroResector device utilizes HydroCision’s fluidjet technology to predictably remove the desired amount of disc material in two to four minutes, reducing procedure time and instrument passes associated with conventional techniques.

Features & Benefits
• Cannula protects the nerve root and minimizes residual annular defect after decompression.
• Simultaneous cutting and aspiration of nucleus, eliminating the need for external suction
• Fewer instrument passes by the nerve root
• Fluidjet technology provides complete control over the amount of disc material that is removed.
• A two-minute procedure, saving approximately 17 minutes compared to conventional microdiscectomy
